Located in the north-east, the industrial town of Whyalla is a key gateway into the Eyre Peninsula. It’s home to the famous giant cuttlefish spawning events, and there are several top-notch caravan parks Whyalla.

There’s direct beach access from the park itself, while the shops and restaurants of Whyalla are just a short trip away. Located across the harbour, just a few minutes’ drive from Cowell, you’ll find Harbour View Caravan Park – another of the excellent Cowell caravan parks. It’s a very quiet and peaceful location, with direct boat access to the harbour, plenty of nearby walking trails, and still only a few minutes’ drive to the centre of town. A little further south again is Port Neill Caravan Park, situated in the serene fishing village of Port Neill. It’s in a great location, with easy access to the town, the jetty, the beach, and of course, the boat ramp. Across the bay from Elliston is Waterloo Bay Tourist Park, right in the heart of town. Heading north from Elliston, you’ll eventually reach the tiny fishing outpost of Venus Bay, home to the Venus Bay Beachfront Tourist Park.
